Dan: So, I wanna ask you, you’ve been married for 13 years. I know that about you. Have you and your husband struggled with anything in your sexual relationship over this 13 years?
Macey: Uh, specifically condoms? Yes.

Macey: I dunno if it’s like this for other couples, but for some reason just my husband struggles. Getting them on himself. And I, I feel like they’re pretty simple, but I mean, it’s fine. It pauses things a little bit, but we’ll get there maybe by 15 years, you know?

Dan: I know it’s funny to say that ’cause I think so many hu husbands, it’s like the unspoken thing about trouble with

Macey: Well in condoms, we also learned the hard way. Um, we’re open about like sex with our kids, like in, you know, age appropriate. And
Dan: Yeah.
Macey: have a grocery list on our fridge and I’ve, you know, [00:04:00] I put condoms on there frequently and one of my oldest son learned how to read fairly quickly and he.
Dan: How old is he at the
Macey: He was, he was four and a half, five at the time.
So he read the word and he was like, that’s a fun word. You know, I mean, kindergarten, like that’s fun. Yeah. Dunno what it means. So that sounds fun. And he decided to go to his kindergarten class the next day and just tell everybody, condoms, this is, my mom has condoms on the fridge, and I got a message.
From his teacher saying, Hey, did you know that Gray knows this about you guys? And I was like, I mean, I don’t care that he knows, but I’m really sorry that he brought it up with a class full of kindergartners. So now we have to call them. I write either condos or funny enough Luna balloons because then it totally throws my kids off.
They have no idea what it is. And yeah, so condoms, that’s been the ongoing struggle ever, ever since day one.

Macey: Well, for me personally, the reason I started following the divas 10 years ago was because I think we all reach a point where we’re like, we want something new and exciting. And also, you know, clean, you know, there’s.

Macey: you know? And it’s so important to, to have that excitement back. You remember when you were dating and everything was [00:06:00] exciting, your spouse could blow her nose, and that was like the cutest thing on the planet.
Right? Really weird. But when you’re dating, everything’s exciting. Everything’s cute, everything’s fun. And when you get married, you kind of fall into this. Well, we know each other so well, you know? And. You gotta bring excitement back. You’ve gotta bring back intention and kind of bring back that spark that you felt when you were dating.

Macey: The first one is A would you rather bedroom addition. So we all know the classic game. Would you rather, you know, getting to know each other like, I mean, there’s other fun questions you can ask, but these ones are sexy questions

Macey: and we have 30 questions that you can ask your spouse. Yeah, to kind of get to know each other in the bedroom.
So one of them, for example, would you rather have a steamy shower together or a slow central massage?

Macey: And I mean, this game, there’s only winners because you’re gonna pick some of these things to do that night, right?
Dan: Uh uh.
Macey: just super easy, super playful, and you can throw it together in minutes. And it really helps you.
I chose this for number one because it helps you get to know each other in the bedroom first, and I feel like a lot of couples kind of get stuck on that. It’s kind of awkward to ask each other what you want, and this game is the perfect way to get to know each other.

Macey: Yeah. You know, and if not, then she can put the show on for him. It’s really how they wanna do it. We created the date where both partners can take turns modeling, lingerie, underwear, whatever they feel comfortable in. Uh, but if you did wanna do it where it was just the wife modeling for her husband, great. Or hey, if the husband is like, I have this awesome pair of boxers I really wanna show off, great.

Macey: Okay, this one is a strip poker night. And of course with anything with stripping, there’s never gonna be a loser, right? So this is a fun and sexy twist on Texas Holden. Macey: Um, summer is all about summer 11, you know, and this date is all about that. And your chills will be multiplying with this.
Dan: Alright.
Macey: It’s so fun.
Um, you watch the movie, um, you can stream it anywhere. Luckily, I love that about this day and age. You can find it anywhere. So you do need to watch the movie because there’s a bingo card that goes along with the movie and typical bingo game. You know, you hear something, see something, you place your marker on it.
Dan: Uhhuh,

Macey: Okay, this is a sex questions edition, so kind of a get to know you again. this one’s more, I kind of mentioned this earlier. Sometimes it’s a little awkward to talk about sex with your spouse. Doesn’t matter how long you’ve been together, there might be some things you still feel weird discussing.
this game has 20 revealing questions to help you better understand each other’s desires in the bedroom. And.
Dan: And if [00:16:00] I recall correctly, how you play the new web game is, at least what I understand is someone’s asking a question and you got to guess what your spouse is going to

Dan: so as the game progresses, it gets riskier and riskier because you might end up the suitcase with only $1 a bill, and, you foregoed, you for psyched

So one of our previous divas had the thought, well, I could totally give this to my spouse and attach a cute little tag to it that says, let’s get naked tonight. And that’s how this date started. And there, oddly enough, there’s several brands of like naked.
Things. There’s like the naked drinks, the bare naked granola. There’s lots, so you can kind of get creative [00:20:00] with this, but
Dan: I bought a loaf of bread. It’s like naked organic
Macey: yeah. There you go. That works.

Macey: Um, keep it organic in the bedroom. Yeah. So yeah, you just find one of those fun snacks or treats and put a cute little tag on it and invite them to a naked night. And from there, we have a couple ideas. So you can play strip battleship. That’s one of our favorite printable games that we have available.
We also have a sexy spin the bottle that you can do, or a sexy twister. So it’s all about just anything that involves. No clothes. So I guess anything that doesn’t involve clothes is the point of this. So kids will wanna be in bed if there’s kids door’s gonna wanna be locked.

This is one of my signature questions I like to ask my guests. Sometimes I spring it on them a little, but I wanna hear from you this, the idea of black belt is. fundamentals, like in martial arts you learn all the [00:24:00] fundamentals, but it’s really at the black belt level where the fundamentals kind of take on a whole new meaning.
It can transcend all the basics, and there’s a lot more nuance. It’s really how to take things from good to
Macey: Mm-hmm.
Dan: to a whole new level. you have anything like that, that you give our listeners what you would say is a black belt sex tip
Macey: I do,
Dan: to the next
Macey: I do, and this is something that I actually give, newlyweds. So anytime I’m at a bridal shower and they ask for what, what not wedding advice, marriage advice, or, you know, sex advice, something like that. This is my go-to. And I think it’s especially true for women, but sex starts in the morning and as soon as we’re intentional about it in the morning, then we’re kind of, you know, getting ourselves excited all day.
I always joke with my husband and say, my favorite position is when you’re doing the dishes when I wake up, right? For some reason, that just is like, so it’s, I don’t wanna say a turn on, but it makes me feel like, okay, he hears me, he sees me, [00:25:00] and he knows that in order for me to be in the mood later. X, Y and Z need to be done before we can kind of get in the mindset.
And so that’s

Macey: Yes, exactly. I, I can’t enjoy the moment if there’s dishes in the sink or if the kids are screaming or, you know, I, I kind of have to just make my brain kind of turn off and

Macey: it starts in the morning. It’s when he’s intentional about it in the morning. And when I see that he’s doing that, I’m like, okay, I can get behind this.
And so I start being more intentional and. We’ve always had success with it, so it starts in the morning.
