Overcoming Body Image Issues- July 2023 Live Workshop

Many women and men struggle with their perception of their bodies. For example, those that struggle with body image issues or frustration with how their body works experience things like:

• Having a difficult time being naked with their spouse
• Finding their inner critic to interfere with enjoying their body
• Comparing your present body to how it used to be (such as when you were younger, or before you had children)
• Constantly comparing their body with that of others, leaving them feeling envious or defeated
• Criticism of themself leading to unhealthy behavior and self-loathing

Sometimes the spouse of someone with sensitivity about their own body makes insensitive remarks too (often without meaning to), adding complexity to the relationship dynamic of the couple.

In this workshop we’ll do a deep dive into body image issues by covering these topics:

• Understanding where your body image concerns originate from
• How to train your mindset around your own body
• How to address how this impacts your marriage relationship

Join us for this workshop all about body image if you or your spouse struggle with body image issues. Everything in this workshop is taught from a Christian perspective, but people from all faiths are welcome to join! Join alone or with your spouse.
