I used to associate the word “erotic” with unsavory media, until I learned what it really meant. Now I’m grateful for my erotic self and how it blesses my life & marriage!
Erotic comes from the Greek word, “Eros”, which literally means “desire.”
Eros energy is the life force. It’s the kind of energy that puts a pep in your step, a smile on your face, and a quiet confidence & sense of curiosity that drives you forward to explore and expand who you are. Eros energy drives you towards connection with others too!
Filling your life with good desires is a fundamental part of growing your sense of self.
So the erotic side of your nature is the part that piques your curiosity, and is what drives you to find things exciting.
When it comes to sexual eroticism, each of us has a unique palette of things that interest us and that we find exciting. Frankly, each of us has some “weirdness” when it comes to sexual desire, but there’s something beautiful and sweet about wanting to share this “weirdness” with a special someone. And this is also precisely why sharing our sexuality with someone else can feel scary and leave us vulnerable at times.
The “erotic” in sex is a beautiful and wonderful life force. It’s the part of you that’s curious, seeks connection, and gets a thrill from the chase of desiring your spouse.
In this live workshop we’ll discuss:
