Oh boy, September flew by this year! Thanks to everyone who participated in Sextember and shared your success stories with us. For me and my husband, September was super busy as we both were starting school again. Taking the time everyday to focus on our intimacy every day wasn’t a luxury, it became absolutely necessary as we turned toward each other in this stressful month.
But enough about us 😉 So many couples were able to participate and see a change in their sex lives. For those of you who are new, Sextember consists of daily challenges that you and your spouse got to plan together on a special calendar in the Intimately Us app. Each challenge helped thousands of couples to grow closer to each other by prioritizing their relationships for a whole month. One of the challenges is to take a photo on the first day of the challenge and the last day. “We really enjoyed the challenge and had fun with trying some new ideas and also were encouraged that some days we had already done something from the list before even planned it. Like, oh, we did watch the sunset together! Or oh, we always hold hands and snuggle when we’re watching shows / sit next to each other at every opportunity. Like it helped me remember that intimacy is so broad and those little things are a part of it! Made me thankful for we’re already doing to stay connected, and help us branch out to try some new things too! So thank you!”
