At Get Your Marriage On! we’re not shy about discussing ways to create a more beautiful, fulfilling, and healthier sex life! Healthy sexuality is a super super important part of marriage! It’s like a God-made glue that bonds a husband and wife together. So let’s have some fun learning together.

At our next live event we’re invited Laura M. Brotherson to be one of our presenters. This post is about what will be going on at our live event. You should totally come!

Laura M. Brotherson
Meet Laura M. Brotherson – Author, LMFT, and Certified Sex Therapist

Laura M. Brotherson is all about teaching couples how to have a “sextraordinary” marriage. She’s the author of three books, including Knowing HER Intimately: 12 Keys For Creating A Sextraordinary Marriage.

Her books have been in the top best seller spot in Deseret Book’s marriage category for years. Besides writing, she has a private practice in Provo Utah called the Marital Intimacy Institute. She has a podcast called The Marital Intimacy Show. She’s got a lot of energy, bubbly, charismatic, and a fun person to be around.

She’s an outspoken advocate for helping couples build a passionate and fulfilling marriage.  Much of her writing and expertise is about how men and women are wired sexually, building a strong emotional bond, and teaching individuals and couples how to get from zero to sixty sexually. She will be presenting a workshop titled 5 Keys to a Sextraordinary Marriage at the event.

Anonymous Q&A Session

Laura will also hold a fun (and spicy!) live Anonymous Question & Answer breakout session at Get Your Marriage On! Those that attend this session can anonymously text a question to a designated number that will appear on Laura’s iPad. Here’s your chance to get answers to whatever sexuality questions you have, such as:

  • “We’re over 50 and our equipment doesn’t work the same as it used to. Any tips for us?”
  • “How can I get my spouse to initiate more often?”
  • “Can you share some suggestions on how I can reach orgasm more often?”
  • “My spouse wants us to try ____ but I’m not sure about it. What do you think?”

Asking questions is the first step to learning more. Without asking the right questions and seeking good answers, it’s unlikely you’ll grow. You can always anonymously ask your questions in the Get Your Marriage On! app too.
